Toledo Luncheonette was dreamt up by Kendra Foley Simpson—a Toledo native who spent the last 20-ish years living across the U.S. and abroad before finally deciding there really is no place like home.

Her goal? To serve up accessible, crowd-pleasing Midwestern comfort food for every kind of eater. Whether you are a proud "meatatarian" (as Kendra’s kids love to put it), a vegetarian, a vegan, or a gluten-sensitive human, there is a seat for you at our table.

We are starting things simple and sweet as we dip our toes into the Glass City. Consider this our practice lap! We are spending our first chapter listening, learning, and taking your feedback to make the 2027 season even better.
